Harry Potter

I have long since finished the Harry Potter series. J. K. Rowling is an wonderful writer. Here is my review on the series.
The Harry Potter Series is one of the best series ever written. With its popularity, It has taken a place between Lord of the Rings and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. J. K. Rowling, the author, will be stuff of legend to future generations. Although it deals with the super-natural, the characters are amazingly realistic and seem to pop of the page. Be prepared to be amazed when you read this fantastic, magical series. Here is the description of the plot, as read from the back of book #1, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's (or, if you're have the English copy, Philosopher's) Stone:
'Harry Potter has never played a sport on the back of a broomstick. He has never worn a cloak of invisibility, befriended a giant, or helped hatch a dragon. All Harry knows is a miserable life with the Dursleys, his horrible aunt and uncle and their abominable son, Dudley. Harry's room is a tiny cupboard at the end of the stairs and he hasn't had a birthday party in eleven years.
'But all that is about to change when Harry gets a mysterious letter from a from an owl messenger: an invitation to a wonderful place he never dreamed existed. There he finds not only friends, aerial sports, and magic around every corner, but a great destiny that's been waiting for him. . . if Harry can survive the encounter.'
The books are filled with clues, red herrings, and everything that makes children's novels fascinating and intriguing. Wow. What a great series.
